WORLD Athletics Certification process
The machine marks on the rim and the fat label had given FiberSport PRO an edge in grip and balance that exceeded the allowances of World Athletics rules and specifications!
We retooled & redesigned the labels
In 2022, We re-tooled and spent additional money to refine the tolerances to meet the guidelines of the World Athletics rules and specifications! We shipped the samples for inspection again Before the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, or submission was held up in customs over a technicality in shipping documents and was returned to us by DHL just as the technical committee traveled to the Games to officiate, missing out on approval for use in the World Championships by many athletes, who had them to throw!
Final acceptance
Today, 2023, World Athletics has accepted our changes and presented the FiberSport PRO Discus with a certification of approval.
